GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The taking of evidence on commission by commissioners appointed by the court under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Nazir, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every commissioner appointed by the court carrying on the taking of evidence on commission shall furnish Form E to the Legal Services Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every commissioner appointed by the court carrying on the taking of evidence on commission shall make an application in Form E to the Legal Services Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the taking of evidence on commission is undertaken, and the Legal Services Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
