Chennai, dated the 28th June, 2015

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of a place of public resort by keepers of a place of public resort under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Controller of Explosives, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a place of public resort carrying on the conduct of a place of public resort shall furnish Form IV to the State Government within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a place of public resort carrying on the conduct of a place of public resort shall make an application in Form IV to the State Government within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of a place of public resort is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
