GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a community radio station by community radio stations under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Press Registrar, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every community radio station carrying on the operation of a community radio station shall furnish Form IV to the Press Council within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every community radio station carrying on the operation of a community radio station shall make an application in Form IV to the Press Council within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a community radio station is undertaken, and the Press Council shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
