GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The manufacture of cosmetics by manufacturers of cosmetics under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Medical Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer of cosmetics carrying on the manufacture of cosmetics shall furnish Form 28 to the Licensing Authority within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of cosmetics carrying on the manufacture of cosmetics shall make an application in Form 28 to the Licensing Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of cosmetics is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka.
