GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The franking of instruments by franking machine licensees under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Stamps, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every franking machine licensee carrying on the franking of instruments shall furnish Form F to the Stamp Revenue Board within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every franking machine licensee carrying on the franking of instruments shall make an application in Form F to the Stamp Revenue Board within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the franking of instruments is undertaken, and the Stamp Revenue Board shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan.
