GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand under the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Development Officer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a village bus stand carrying on the running of a village bus stand shall furnish Form 2 to the Panchayat Samiti within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a village bus stand carrying on the running of a village bus stand shall make an application in Form 2 to the Panchayat Samiti within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a village bus stand is undertaken, and the Panchayat Samiti shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of West Bengal.
