GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The performance of rituals in a temple by archakas under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Charity Commissioner, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall furnish Form E to the Waqf Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall make an application in Form E to the Waqf Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the performance of rituals in a temple is undertaken, and the Waqf Tribunal shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
