GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a nursing home by nursing homes under the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every nursing home carrying on the running of a nursing home shall furnish Form 28 to the National Medical Commission within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every nursing home carrying on the running of a nursing home shall make an application in Form 28 to the National Medical Commission within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a nursing home is undertaken, and the National Medical Commission shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra.
