GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The sponsoring of contract farming by contract farming sponsors under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Insecticide Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall furnish Form A to the Board within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall make an application in Form A to the Board within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sponsoring of contract farming is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Maharashtra.
