GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Auditor of Trusts, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall furnish Form G to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form G to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a temple is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Odisha.
