GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The provision of paying guest accommodation by paying guest accommodation providers under the Karnataka Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of the Authority, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every paying guest accommodation provider carrying on the provision of paying guest accommodation shall furnish Form H to the Rent Authority within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every paying guest accommodation provider carrying on the provision of paying guest accommodation shall make an application in Form H to the Rent Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the provision of paying guest accommodation is undertaken, and the Rent Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Karnataka.
