GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The slaughter of animals by keepers of a slaughter house under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Sanitary Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a slaughter house carrying on the slaughter of animals shall furnish Form H to the Director of Municipal Administration within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a slaughter house carrying on the slaughter of animals shall make an application in Form H to the Director of Municipal Administration within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the slaughter of animals is undertaken, and the Director of Municipal Administration shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Gujarat.
