GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The distribution of films by distributors of films under the Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Authorised Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every distributor of films carrying on the distribution of films shall furnish Form VI to the Board of Film Certification within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every distributor of films carrying on the distribution of films shall make an application in Form VI to the Board of Film Certification within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the distribution of films is undertaken, and the Board of Film Certification shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Maharashtra.
