New Delhi, dated the 4th April, 2014

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall furnish Form 5 to the Tahsildar within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Tahsildar within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
