GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Gujarat.
