GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres under the Karnataka Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Protection Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall furnish Form VIII to the Committee within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall make an application in Form VIII to the Committee within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an anganwadi centre is undertaken, and the Committee shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Karnataka.
