GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The sale of court fee stamps by stamp vendors under the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Taxing Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every stamp vendor carrying on the sale of court fee stamps shall furnish Form H to the Government of Tamil Nadu within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every stamp vendor carrying on the sale of court fee stamps shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Tamil Nadu within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of court fee stamps is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
