GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 2 to the State Government within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 2 to the State Government within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of West Bengal.
