GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The production of certified seed by seed producers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Plant Protection Officer, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every seed producer carrying on the production of certified seed shall furnish Form E to the Market Committee within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every seed producer carrying on the production of certified seed shall make an application in Form E to the Market Committee within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the production of certified seed is undertaken, and the Market Committee shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Punjab.
