GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a cattle pound by owners of a cattle pound under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a cattle pound carrying on the keeping of a cattle pound shall furnish Form 2 to the Gram Sabha within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a cattle pound carrying on the keeping of a cattle pound shall make an application in Form 2 to the Gram Sabha within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a cattle pound is undertaken, and the Gram Sabha shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
