GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the West Bengal Estates Acquisition Act, 1954, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 8 to the Board of Revenue within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 8 to the Board of Revenue within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of West Bengal.
