GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall furnish Form 8 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 8 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as a sharecropper is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Punjab.
