GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The irrigation of land from a canal by cultivators of irrigated land under the Maharashtra Irrigation Act, 1976, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Superintending Engineer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every cultivator of irrigated land carrying on the irrigation of land from a canal shall furnish Form H to the Canal Officer within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every cultivator of irrigated land carrying on the irrigation of land from a canal shall make an application in Form H to the Canal Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the irrigation of land from a canal is undertaken, and the Canal Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Maharashtra.
