GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The ownership of a protected monument by owners of a protected monument under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Director of Tourism, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a protected monument carrying on the ownership of a protected monument shall furnish Form IV to the Museum Board within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a protected monument carrying on the ownership of a protected monument shall make an application in Form IV to the Museum Board within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the ownership of a protected monument is undertaken, and the Museum Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Kerala.
