GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of an observation home by observation homes under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Anganwadi Supervisor, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every observation home carrying on the running of an observation home shall furnish Form VII to the Commission within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every observation home carrying on the running of an observation home shall make an application in Form VII to the Commission within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an observation home is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
