GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Dealing in antiquities by dealers in antiquities under the Tamil Nadu Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1966, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Conservation Assistant, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer in antiquities carrying on dealing in antiquities shall furnish Form II to the Authority within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in antiquities carrying on dealing in antiquities shall make an application in Form II to the Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in antiquities is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
