GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The import of drugs by importers of drugs under the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the District Medical Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every importer of drugs carrying on the import of drugs shall furnish Form 28 to the National Medical Commission within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every importer of drugs carrying on the import of drugs shall make an application in Form 28 to the National Medical Commission within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the import of drugs is undertaken, and the National Medical Commission shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra.
