GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The drawing and disbursement of funds by Drawing and Disbursing Officers under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall furnish Form GFR 40 to the Accountant General within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall make an application in Form GFR 40 to the Accountant General within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the drawing and disbursement of funds is undertaken, and the Accountant General shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
