GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: Residence in a prohibited area by persons residing in a prohibited area under the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Defence Estates Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person residing in a prohibited area carrying on residence in a prohibited area shall furnish Form B to the Director-General within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person residing in a prohibited area carrying on residence in a prohibited area shall make an application in Form B to the Director-General within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which residence in a prohibited area is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
