GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Bihar Tenancy Act, 1885, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 8 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 8 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Bihar.
