GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Relief Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall furnish Form C to the Relief Commissioner within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form C to the Relief Commissioner within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of hazardous chemicals is undertaken, and the Relief Commissioner shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
