GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The receipt of wages in a covered establishment by employees under the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and Other Manual Workers Act, 1969, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Director, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employee carrying on the receipt of wages in a covered establishment shall furnish Form 3 to the Medical Benefit Council within ten days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employee carrying on the receipt of wages in a covered establishment shall make an application in Form 3 to the Medical Benefit Council within ten days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of wages in a covered establishment is undertaken, and the Medical Benefit Council shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra.
