GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a rural water supply scheme by operators of a rural water supply scheme under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Development Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a rural water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a rural water supply scheme shall furnish Form 8 to the District Panchayat within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rural water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a rural water supply scheme shall make an application in Form 8 to the District Panchayat within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a rural water supply scheme is undertaken, and the District Panchayat shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Rajasthan.
