ORDER

Subject: Service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Fire Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall furnish Form B to the Director of Fire Services within one day.

2. The matter has been examined. Every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall make an application in Form B to the Director of Fire Services within one day, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service as a civil defence volunteer is undertaken, and the Director of Fire Services shall dispose of it within one day of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
