GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The connection of a private drain to the municipal sewer by owners of a private drain under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Health Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a private drain carrying on the connection of a private drain to the municipal sewer shall furnish Form C to the Standing Committee within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a private drain carrying on the connection of a private drain to the municipal sewer shall make an application in Form C to the Standing Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the connection of a private drain to the municipal sewer is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Gujarat.
