GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 14 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Gujarat.
