GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The certification of disability by certifying medical authorities under the Tamil Nadu Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Seats) Act, 1994, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Welfare Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every certifying medical authority carrying on the certification of disability shall furnish Form II to the Commission within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every certifying medical authority carrying on the certification of disability shall make an application in Form II to the Commission within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the certification of disability is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
