GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The sale of court fee stamps by stamp vendors under the Bombay Court Fees Act, 1959, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every stamp vendor carrying on the sale of court fee stamps shall furnish Form A to the Bar Council within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every stamp vendor carrying on the sale of court fee stamps shall make an application in Form A to the Bar Council within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of court fee stamps is undertaken, and the Bar Council shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
