GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of a building in a village by owners of a building in a village under the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Development Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall furnish Form 3 to the Gram Sabha within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall make an application in Form 3 to the Gram Sabha within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of a building in a village is undertaken, and the Gram Sabha shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
