GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall furnish Form 1 to the Collector within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Collector within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a well on Government land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
