GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Goa Excise Duty Act, 1964, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Superintendent, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form B to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form B to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Goa.
