GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The use of water for industry by users of water for industry under the Bengal Irrigation Act, 1876, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Engineer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every user of water for industry carrying on the use of water for industry shall furnish Form D to the Dam Safety Authority within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every user of water for industry carrying on the use of water for industry shall make an application in Form D to the Dam Safety Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of water for industry is undertaken, and the Dam Safety Authority shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of West Bengal.
