GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Surveyor, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 14 to the Tahsildar within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 14 to the Tahsildar within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat.
