GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The import of inputs under an advance authorisation by holders of an advance authorisation under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of an advance authorisation carrying on the import of inputs under an advance authorisation shall furnish Form ANF-5A to the Board of Approval within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of an advance authorisation carrying on the import of inputs under an advance authorisation shall make an application in Form ANF-5A to the Board of Approval within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the import of inputs under an advance authorisation is undertaken, and the Board of Approval shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
