New Delhi, dated the 23rd November, 2008

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall furnish Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the possession of land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
