GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The production of certified seed by seed producers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every seed producer carrying on the production of certified seed shall furnish Form A to the Insecticides Board within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every seed producer carrying on the production of certified seed shall make an application in Form A to the Insecticides Board within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the production of certified seed is undertaken, and the Insecticides Board shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Punjab.
