GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall furnish Form 5 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 5 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as a sharecropper is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Bihar.
