GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a fishing vessel by owners of a fishing vessel under the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Harbour Master, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a fishing vessel carrying on the operation of a fishing vessel shall furnish Form 8 to the Conservator of the Port within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a fishing vessel carrying on the operation of a fishing vessel shall make an application in Form 8 to the Conservator of the Port within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a fishing vessel is undertaken, and the Conservator of the Port shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat.
