GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The occupation of land near a monument by occupiers of land near a monument under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Tourist Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupier of land near a monument carrying on the occupation of land near a monument shall furnish Form VII to the Hotel Classification Committee within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier of land near a monument carrying on the occupation of land near a monument shall make an application in Form VII to the Hotel Classification Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land near a monument is undertaken, and the Hotel Classification Committee shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Kerala.
