GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Bihar.
